Weekend Pt 2: Miller's Back

Last night turned out to be a reunion with fellow Limited Existence blogger... Miller. We met up at Rhino in Georgetown and was treated to a nice mix of college students and a few young professionals and a few former Dukes. Miller showed up with a girl who knew a bunch of former JMU people there. I am sure he can expand on his own experience but things didnt turn out the way he planned. If he wants to fill in from his point of view, I will let him expound later.

Let just say these girls went off on and started talking to a couple other guys and we were let to stand around like the guys who were a little to old to be in the bar. After standing around not talking about much and taking in the surrounding, a girl came up to me(because I would never go up to one) and said "you guys dont look like you are having a good time". I kind of stood there for a little bit and then it hit me that I probably should say something since she was still standing there and I replied with "Actually, I dont even know this guy. I just happened to be standing beside him". That got a good laugh and it was smooth from there. A little after talking to her, her friend came out of nowhere and immediately started talking to Miller. I was fortunate enough to start talking to a girl who was a social science major, which allowed me not to have to bullshit(always a good thing). The JMU girls returned late in the night and asked if we were ready to go, and we of course decided to stay and talk to these girls.

Last call came and the metro was closed, so I ended up having to drive the girls to a hotel in Crystal City and then dropped Miller off in Arlington. Some good things happened in the car for Miller and I exchanged numbers as the girl will be taking classes at Georgetown this summer and doesnt know many people in the area.

I decided to try and get home the quickest way possible instead of the way I knew, which led to me getting lost as shit. I drove through all four quadrants of the city and ended up a mile from Anacostia(which was a mile too close for comfort). I ended up getting back to the place around 4:30 after most likely picking up a speeding ticket. I was going a little over 30 and saw the flash from a camera and that usually means one thing in DC. I was on a busy road but I am guessing I was in a 15 mph school zone, I guess I will find out shortly for sure.

Until next weekend...

I was actually about to post my perspective on the weekend yesterday, and then canned it due to being slightly asinine. I'd say you're reflection is good, mine was more focused on the general inability to get served a damn drink in the place. Good night all around.
